Lesson 11 - The One Who Chose God's Will

Mark 14:17-72. What should have been a holy night of remembrance for the disciples became one of intense fear and confusion. Christ's predictions of betrayal and desertion alarmed them. Peter's brave words rallied them briefly; but not for long. Their beloved Master was arrested by those who sought His death, beginning the long hours of suffering He would endure at their hands. And just as Jesus had said, they all ran away. All but Peter—who could only watch from a distance and weep bitterly in the darkness.
